This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
β’ Develop plans at the department, class, and style-color level by channel and country, taking ownership of top-down planning guidance.
β’ Formulate strategic weekly sales plans that integrate into monthly and seasonal strategies while supporting Go-to-Market initiatives.
β’ Evaluate historical performance and current market trends to pinpoint risks and opportunities across various categories and classes.
β’ Ensure consistency and reconciliation between top-down financial objectives and bottom-up merchandise plans.
β’ Collaborate with Merchants to comprehend financial goals, craft line and Go-to-Market narratives, and influence assortment choices using data-driven insights.
β’ Oversee long-term budgeting and reforecasting processes.
β’ Facilitate pre-season and in-season middle-out reconciliation to meet financial and inventory objectives.
β’ Partner with and influence cross-functional teams to create strategies that enhance business performance and meet financial targets.
β’ A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
β’ 2β3+ years of experience in merchandise planning, merchandise financial planning, inventory management, or retail analytics.
β’ Capability to analyze complex data, predict business performance, and create actionable insights.
β’ Strong grasp of retail mathematics, inventory management, financial reporting, and forecasting techniques.
β’ Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive alignment.
β’ Proficient in planning systems, data analysis tools, and advanced Excel.
β’ Keen attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
β’ Must reside in one of the approved states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington.
