Mental Health Therapist – Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with a psychiatric physician, RN Director, and medical office coordinator to deliver services to the senior demographic.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Create, tailor, and revise treatment plans in conjunction with the care team.

• Ensure compliant documentation in accordance with Medicare guidelines within specified timeframes.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions.

• Offer family therapy as required.

• Support local community education initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A state-recognized license in Social Work or Counseling is mandatory; examples include LISW, LCSW, LPC, and LMFT.

• A commitment to working with kindness and accountability to improve patients’ quality of life is essential.

• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check is a prerequisite for employment.

• Drug testing may be necessary.

• Capability to provide compliant documentation based on Medicare guidelines.

• Proficiency in using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a psychiatric physician, RN Director, and medical office coordinator.
