Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of behavioral, emotional, and mental health requirements

• Create personalized treatment plans that align with client objectives

• Deliver evidence-based therapy to individuals, families, and groups utilizing methods such as CBT and DBT

• Provide care both in-person and remotely, adhering to the hybrid care approach

• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary

• Ensure precise and timely clinical documentation, including progress reports and treatment outcomes

• Collaborate effectively with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals

• Offer crisis intervention and assistance to clients experiencing acute distress

• Inform clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment alternatives, and coping methods

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field within behavioral health

• Active license (must be capable of practicing independently) in at least one of the following states: Massachusetts (MA), Washington, DC, Maryland (MD), Virginia (VA)

• 3–5 years of clinical experience with youth, adults, and individuals facing behavioral health challenges

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
