Mental Health Licensed Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional and innovative tele-therapy services to Headspace patients through a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and finalize clinical case notes in the EMR within 48 hours of each session as part of the per-session reimbursement rate.

• Maintain a personalized database to document proof of licensure, license updates, expiration dates, personal information, and more.

• Regularly update your availability calendar.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team that includes health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• An independent clinical license to practice in good standing (without the need for clinical supervision), at either the Master's or Doctoral level.

• Capacity to offer at least 10 sessions per week for bookings, with the flexibility to adjust as necessary.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement-based care.

• Experience in risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Knowledge, skills, and dedication to delivering culturally responsive care.

• Familiarity, comfort, and confidence in using care delivery technology, including various applications, tech tools, Google web apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc.

• A safe and secure location equipped with a reliable internet connection to conduct Zoom-based psychotherapy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams.
