This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, develop, and optimize memory circuits focusing on performance, power consumption, area, and reliability.
• Create transistor-level designs for essential memory components, such as bit cells, sense amplifiers, decoders, write drivers, precharge circuits, and peripheral logic.
• Execute schematic capture, circuit simulation, and design validation utilizing industry-standard EDA tools.
• Conduct timing, noise, power, and variation analyses across various process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) conditions.
• Collaborate with layout engineers to enhance circuit optimization and perform post-layout verification.
• Analyze silicon results and troubleshoot circuit-level issues to enhance design robustness and yield.
• Work alongside architecture, physical design, verification, and characterization teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Assist in design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing memory IP quality and efficiency.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience; the required range is 2–10 years in memory circuit design or custom circuit design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, VLSI Design, or a related field.
• Strong grasp of CMOS fundamentals, transistor behavior, and semiconductor device physics.
• Experience with advanced technology nodes and the implementation of custom memory circuits.
• Extensive expertise in circuit design tailored for memory architectures.
• Practical experience with transistor-level design and simulation.
• Familiarity with SRAM, DRAM, ROM, embedded memories, or register files.
• Experience utilizing SPICE simulations and circuit optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of timing, power, signal integrity, and variability analysis.
• Understanding of PVT analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and design reliability.
• Proficiency with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, HSPICE, or similar.
• Capability to perform schematic capture, circuit simulation, design validation, and post-layout verification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and optimization abilities.
