This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Develop and enhance machine learning components across data processing, model training, evaluation, and inference stages.
• Fine-tune and modify models as part of broader production ecosystems.
• Conduct evaluations and tests to gain insights into model performance.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of data pipelines for both real-world and synthetic datasets.
• Troubleshoot model issues, performance challenges, and production-related incidents.
• Release enhancements incrementally and gather insights from actual user feedback.
• Collaborate closely with senior machine learning engineers and product development teams.
• Operate within real production constraints such as latency, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety.
• Solid understanding of machine learning principles and contemporary neural network architectures.
• Some practical experience in training, fine-tuning, or deploying machine learning models.
• Proficient in writing production-level code and quick to adapt to new tools.
• Inquisitive, open to coaching, and enthusiastic about learning from real-world production systems.
• Capable of navigating ambiguity with guidance and progressively taking on more ownership.
• Strong inclination towards shipping, iterative processes, and ongoing improvement.
