Member of Technical Staff, Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance ML components encompassing data, training, evaluation, and inference.

• Refine and adjust models as part of comprehensive production systems.

• Execute evaluations and tests to gain insights into model performance.

• Assist in constructing and maintaining data pipelines for both real-world and synthetic datasets.

• Troubleshoot model challenges, performance issues, and production incidents.

• Release enhancements incrementally and learn from actual user input.

• Collaborate closely with senior ML engineers and product teams.

• Operate within real production constraints such as latency, cost, reliability, and safety.

• Solid understanding of machine learning principles and contemporary neural architectures.

• Some practical experience in training, fine-tuning, or deploying ML models.

• Proficient in writing production-quality code and quick to learn new tools.

• Inquisitive, open to coaching, and enthusiastic about learning from real-world production systems.

• Capable of navigating ambiguity with guidance and progressively taking on more ownership.

• Strong inclination towards shipping products, iterating, and fostering continuous improvement.
