• Create secure and resilient infrastructure from the ground up!

• Conduct code reviews across all layers of the stack and within the engineering team while actively contributing to product development.

• Cultivate an effective deterministic testing culture, focusing on reducing technical debt.

• Develop straightforward solutions to intricate software design challenges.

• Skillfully implement high-quality code that is functional, efficient, clear, concise, and thoroughly tested.

• Engage in the on-call rotation to troubleshoot, address, and learn from production incidents, aiming to decrease their frequency.

• Reduce technical complexity and safely refactor existing systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in building backend services.

• Designed, developed, and maintained APIs that are customer-facing.

• Experience in designing, building, and deploying cloud-native microservices.

• Enthusiastic about creating automated tests alongside your features.

• Enjoy building services from scratch and supporting them over a substantial period.

• A genuine interest in and pride for code quality and infrastructure.

• Experience providing on-call support for production systems.

• Value end-user experience and business impact over merely “cool technology.”

• Familiarity with computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and operating systems (a formal CS degree is not a requirement).
