Member of Technical Staff – Agentic Banking, Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the customer-facing product interface.

• Spearhead cross-functional product initiatives from identifying vague customer needs to defining scope.

• Manage the entire product lifecycle, including API design, backend functionality, error handling, documentation, and customer communication in case of issues.

• Independently establish product specifications, validate them with the team and customers, and drive implementation without needing a PM handoff.

• Strike a balance between shipping speed and the accuracy and reliability required for financial systems dealing with real customer funds.

• Engage with customers directly to identify friction points and translate them into improved APIs, enhanced documentation, or self-service product interfaces.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in full-stack development.

• Strong product judgment with the capability to simplify complex and ambiguous challenges.

• Ability to work across frontend, backend, APIs, documentation, and customer processes.

• Familiarity with financial systems (including crypto, fiat banking, and payment systems), compliance-sensitive products, or a willingness to gain deep knowledge in this area.

• Exceptional written communication skills: crafting product notes, integration documentation, design trade-offs, and customer-facing explanations.

• Strong habits in AI-assisted execution, with the discernment to determine which decisions to delegate to the model and which to take ownership of.

• Preference for delivering functional, reliable systems rather than impressive but fragile solutions.

• Comfort in direct communication with customers and utilizing their feedback to influence product development.
