Medication History Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect and validate comprehensive medication lists along with patient allergy information.

• Record all medication specifics in electronic health records.

• Conduct interviews with patients and caregivers, and collaborate with pharmacists to address any discrepancies.

• Assist with quality assurance data and clinical service operations.

• Manage orders and provide support to pharmacists with data entry and insurance claim processing.

• Contribute to Remote Pharmacy Services by accurately gathering and documenting patient medication histories.

• Execute related clinical and administrative responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid State Pharmacy Technician License.

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

• At least 1 year of experience in Medication Reconciliation/History within hospital settings.

• Proficient computer skills are essential.

• Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, and/or MediTech systems.

• Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and technological abilities.

• Availability for emergency situations.

• High-speed cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload for remote work.

• Flexibility to work between 3 AM and 11 PM, from Sunday through Saturday.

• Willingness to engage in either weekly scheduling or 7 on, 7 off style work schedules.
