This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily team operations by assessing productivity, quality, and performance within a high-volume revenue cycle setting.

• Guide, mentor, and develop team members by offering support, direction, and expertise on essential tasks and escalations.

• Develop, maintain, and improve job aids, workflows, and documentation for policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

• Produce and evaluate reports to detect trends, enhance performance, and assist in achieving functional objectives.

• Lead efforts in tracking and trending to address unbilled issues while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

• Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, front-end operations, and payer relations teams, to encourage compliance and operational effectiveness.

• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain exceptional talent necessary to achieve performance targets and business goals.

• Handle essential administrative leadership tasks, such as payroll, timesheet review, interviewing, and performance management.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in insurance billing, collections, accounts receivable, health plan claims processing or adjudication, or a similar healthcare insurance field.

• A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience with a proven track record of guiding team performance and fostering employee growth.

• Familiarity with Medicare Part B documentation verification, billing, and/or collections.

• Over 3 years of experience in insurance billing, collections, accounts receivable, health plan claims adjudication, or a related healthcare insurance area.

• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees while establishing meaningful team objectives that enhance performance.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities with the skill to identify innovative solutions and encourage creativity within the team.

• Excellent organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and achieve results.

• Outstanding presentation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Competence in interpreting, translating, and analyzing extensive data sets to inform decision-making.

• Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician License (Tech II).

• CPhT Certification from PTCB.

• Education: A verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.

• An Associate’s Degree is preferred.
