This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Performs timely operational, compliance, and financial audits for internal and external divisions, departments, providers, and activities of the corporation, including an assessment of internal controls.

• Identifies, documents, and evaluates potential business risks.

• Records issues, the root causes, and their impacts on processes/functions and the corporation.

• Formulates recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance processes, functions, and activities.

• Composes audit reports for corporate executive management that effectively convey evaluations, conclusions, and suggestions from the engagements.

• Gathers and analyzes data to identify weak controls, redundant efforts, fraudulent activities, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.

• Executes tests on corrective actions that have been identified.

• Produces comprehensive reports for each audit conducted.

• Reports encompass a review of findings and highlight recommendations to rectify any deficiencies along with methods for process improvements.

• Reviews and assesses financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure reliability and integrity of data.

• Undertakes special audit studies for management, including those necessary to establish controls to prevent fraud.

• Prepares reports detailing findings and recommendations for management.

• Supports other auditors in completing their tasks to maximize audit efficiency and minimize the time and involvement of corporate personnel.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience or an Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant work experience.

• At least 2 years of auditing experience.

• Understanding of the principles and practices of auditing.

• Capability to analyze and assess the applicability of financial data.

• Ability to draw conclusions and provide appropriate recommendations based on analyzed data.

• Proficient in gathering information by reviewing records and documents and interviewing individuals.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain effective working relationships.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capacity to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
