Food Safety Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct third-party audits in accordance with SGS Certification procedures

• Gather and evaluate information to provide certification recommendations

• Work collaboratively with teams of Auditors during the auditing process

• Support the training of other Auditors and Senior Auditors

• Engage in witness audits conducted by SGS or relevant accreditation bodies

• Uphold all credentials associated with audit responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in animal feed/nutrition, food science, or bioscience is required

• At least 2 years of professional experience

• Certified as a Lead Auditor for HACCP (third-party audit scheme, e.g., SQF)

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a food industry management role

• At least 2 years of work experience in quality assurance or food safety management system coordination

• Strong foundation and understanding of the technical applications of relevant standards
