This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manage a team of medical writers effectively.
• Provide oversight and guidance regarding resources on a weekly basis.
• Facilitate professional growth through regular (i.e., quarterly) meetings with all team members.
• Conduct both annual and ad-hoc performance reviews for all team members.
• Supervise each employee’s time management and utilization.
• Consistently reinforce the company’s values and objectives to foster a shared sense of values, purpose, mission, and vision.
• Engage in management-level activities within Trilogy.
• Take part in business development efforts, including delivering presentations or workshops on behalf of Trilogy, participating in management meetings to discuss strategic initiatives, or representing Trilogy in client meetings.
• Additionally, continue to write on client projects while balancing a reduced writing workload to accommodate these management responsibilities.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing a team of medical writers in a line-management role.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in medical regulatory writing within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environment.
• Proven experience as a Lead Medical Writer on various types of regulatory documents and writing projects, including complex, multi-document projects involving global, multinational teams, such as submission dossiers or responses to regulatory bodies.
• Experience in managing and coordinating project-level activities, including resource oversight, collaboration with other writers and quality control, and employing systematic methods for planning and executing tasks while coordinating team efforts.
• Background in performing cost/benefit analyses to inform decision-making (e.g., related to resource allocation, conflict resolution, etc.).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to guide and influence others both internally and externally, strong decision-making capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competitive base salary starting from $165,000 CAD, contingent on experience and the Company’s compensation policies.
