This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Confirm patient insurance details post check-in and ensure that the information is precise, updated, and properly documented.
• Analyze denied claims, determine the reasons for denial, assist in reprocessing, monitor issues, and follow up on any missing information.
• Assess and manage Explanation of Benefits documents while clearing EOB backlogs.
• Examine outstanding insurance balances and patient account discrepancies, coordinating their resolution.
• Facilitate claims workflows, including those for Cigna and Veterans Affairs.
• Oversee vendor payments, including issuing checks when necessary.
• Supervise the completion, accuracy, and compliance of SOAP notes.
• Monitor missed and canceled appointments, identifying scheduling patterns.
• Generate reports on balances, appointments, EOB backlogs, denied claims, and other operational metrics, including actionable insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate communication among the provider, care team, and administrative personnel.
• Identify gaps in workflow, billing, documentation, scheduling, and patient accounts, and propose solutions.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Familiarity with supporting a US healthcare practice.
• Proficient in insurance verification, EOBs, claims management, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong executive presence and a professional communication style.
• Must be proficient in Mac OS.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated leadership, ownership, or high-accountability experience in a prior role.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Emotionally intelligent and patient, especially when collaborating with a busy provider.
• Confident, professional, and organized in communication.
• Ability to take personal responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Resourceful and self-driven when learning new workflows.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and comfortable managing sensitive information.
• Performance-based salary increase after 6 months.

• 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday schedule.
