This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• The Ophthalmology Medical Specialist will report directly to the Regional Director and will be tasked with cultivating and managing relationships with retina specialists and other customer accounts within the designated territory to increase revenue and consistently meet product objectives.
• Provide comprehensive technical and clinical product knowledge along with support.
• Effectively leverage Regeneron marketing and operations resources to boost productivity and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
• Proven experience with biologics and buy-and-bill products.
• A track record of outstanding sales performance.
• Familiarity with reimbursement programs, government initiatives, managed care, formulary, and contract negotiations.
• BA/BS degree in science or business (a master’s degree is advantageous).
• At least 5 years of specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sector.
• Experience with buy-and-bill processes.
• Preference for candidates with ophthalmology experience, particularly in retina.
• Must reside in or be located near the assigned territory, which includes DFW, Waco, Midland/Odessa, Lubbock, and East Texas (relocation assistance will not be provided).
• Willingness to travel (40-60%).
