Medical Science Liaison – Southeast US, Remote with Field Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of medical affairs initiatives throughout the Southeastern US, which includes engaging with KOLs, executing advisory boards, and generating insights.

• Create and implement a territory-specific engagement strategy that encompasses the identification, prioritization, and relationship-building with KOLs and dermatology influencers.

• Facilitate balanced, non-promotional scientific discussions regarding disease awareness, clinical trial findings, and pipeline advancements.

• Attend and represent Veradermics at medical congresses, advisory boards, and regional educational gatherings.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure cohesive execution.

• Assist in crafting medical slide presentations, FAQs, training resources, and field tools.

• Support internal training programs, particularly those related to product science, competitive landscape, and dermatology education.

• Ensure that all interactions adhere to Veradermics' medical governance policies, company standard operating procedures, and external regulatory requirements.

• Accurately document all external interactions and field activities in CRM systems in a timely manner.

• Monitor and report on territory-level activities, KOL engagement metrics, and insight trends to Medical Affairs leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, NP, PA, or equivalent) is required.

• A minimum of 2 years in a Medical Science Liaison position or a similar field-based scientific role; experience in dermatology or aesthetics is highly preferred.

• Outstanding public speaking and formal presentation abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build scientific credibility and trust with external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a field role while excelling in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with clinical trial processes, medical compliance, and CRM documentation systems.

• Must be located in the Southeastern US and willing to travel up to 60% of the time.

• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, both now and in the future.
