This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
β’ Enhance clinical practice within the designated Illinois and Michigan regions to elevate patient outcomes and influence oncology care.
β’ Identify, map, and connect with relevant healthcare professionals and accounts, including academic and community HCPs, pharmacists, physician assistants, and nurses.
β’ Educate and engage HCPs and the healthcare community regarding disease states, product information, emerging data, clinical trials, unmet medical needs, patient access barriers, and market dynamics.
β’ Gather and relay field insights to impact medical strategy throughout the product lifecycle.
β’ Create and implement strategic territory and engagement plans that align with medical strategy.
β’ Organize scientific interactions with key accounts and assist clinical trials through pertinent medical activities and cross-functional collaboration.
β’ Serve as a therapeutic-area and GSK medicines resource for customers and internal colleagues.
β’ Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the therapeutic landscape and anticipate educational needs of customers.
β’ Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Sales, and other internal stakeholders on medical solutions and cross-enterprise projects.
β’ Adhere to GSK policies and the Code of Conduct while completing necessary training, documentation, and administrative tasks.
β’ Candidates must reside within the territory to be considered.
β’ Doctorate in a clinical/medical field (PharmD, PhD, MD), or a master's degree in advanced science/clinical/healthcare (e.g., MSN, ANP, MS, MPH).
β’ Experience in oncology, the pharmaceutical industry, clinical, or academic settings.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience in human pharmacology/pharmacotherapy, preferably in an oncology clinical environment.
β’ Proven experience engaging in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with medical professionals and decision-makers.
β’ Demonstrated ability to deliver medical-based presentations.
β’ Experience in identifying opportunities for medical engagement and developing scientific engagement objectives.
β’ Established capability to build relationships with external HCPs, experts, and internal stakeholders.
β’ Ability to manage a multi-state territory with 60β75% travel commitment.
β’ Preferred: Prior clinical experience involving direct or indirect decision-making authority for patient care.
β’ Preferred: Above-average computer skills, including AI and digital fluency, along with experience in software applications.
