This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Design and execute a scientific engagement strategy that aligns with the Medical Affairs objectives and overall strategy.
• Build and nurture professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the community and academia.
• Facilitate a two-way scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals.
• Gather, analyze, and utilize clinical, scientific, competitive, and regional insights.
• Offer product support, technical assistance, and educational training during the insertion, removal, and related procedures of clinical products.
• Leverage AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and improve outcomes.
• Present customized scientific data through discussions and presentations.
• Identify gaps in needs and suggest evidence-based solutions or educational initiatives.
• Provide timely, high-quality actionable insights to guide medical strategy and cross-functional collaborations.
• Address unsolicited inquiries regarding J&J products and research.
• Assist in company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
• Collaborate with MSL field partners, R&D, U.S. and Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Maintain scientific knowledge through self-study, journal clubs, seminars, conferences, and discussions with peers.
• Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, healthcare, corporate conduct, and Medical Affairs policies.
• Create performance and development plans in partnership with the Field Director.
• Accurately complete administrative documentation and expense reports in compliance with regulations.
• A Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience is mandatory, including PharmD, PhD, MD, or qualifications for Advanced Practice Providers.
• Comprehensive scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge is required.
• Familiarity with research and/or the healthcare system is essential.
• Strong skills in data collection and analysis are necessary.
• Clinical expertise coupled with problem-solving abilities is important.
• Experience in interpersonal influence and cross-functional teamwork is expected.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to analyze the competitive landscape are required.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% within the territory is essential.
• A valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
• A commitment to learning and integrating emerging technologies such as AI is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred, ideally in an MSL role.
• At least 2 years of experience in a therapeutic area is preferred.
• Completion of a residency or fellowship is preferred.
• Board certification for clinical degrees is preferred.
