This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Build and sustain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, investigators, academic institutions, and professional organizations.

• Provide balanced, accurate, and non-promotional scientific discussions regarding disease states, clinical data, real-world evidence, treatment pathways, guidelines, and unmet needs.

• Collect and relay actionable medical insights to guide medical strategy, evidence generation, educational priorities, and cross-functional planning.

• Assist with advisory boards, congress activities, speaker development, educational programs, and investigator engagement.

• Keep track of research, congress updates, treatment trends, and stakeholder perspectives to assess implications for medical strategy and patient care.

• Simplify complex clinical and scientific data for audience-appropriate discussions.

• Contribute to publication planning, identification of evidence gaps, abstracts, manuscripts, and data communication.

• Collaborate on abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slide decks, and materials for scientific communication.

• Review scientific content for accuracy, balance, clarity, adherence to approved data, product labeling, and publication standards.

• Aid in interpreting and communicating clinical trials, real-world evidence, health outcomes research, and investigator-sponsored research.

• Create, review, and maintain medical information response documents, FAQs, medical letters, and scientific background materials.

• Address escalated or complex unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals.

• Work collaboratively with medical information, pharmacovigilance, regulatory, legal, and commercial teams.

• Identify trends in inquiries and relay insights for education, training, content development, and evidence-generation priorities.

• Partner with medical affairs leadership and cross-functional teams to implement medical plans, field strategies, training initiatives, and evidence dissemination.

• Design and deliver internal scientific training and updates on therapeutic areas.

• Accurately document activities, insights, project outcomes, and stakeholder engagements.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific or clinical degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc, NP, or PA, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.

• Background in medical affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, publications, medical information, or a related role in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Experience in oncology, men’s health, urology, prostate cancer, endocrinology, or related therapeutic areas is advantageous.

• Prior experience supporting publications, scientific communications, medical writing, or knowledge translation is preferred.

• Previous MSL or field medical experience is beneficial, especially in specialty care or oncology.

• Strong capability to interpret and convey clinical trial data, real-world evidence, treatment guidelines, and peer-reviewed literature.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to adapt complex scientific content for varied audiences.

• Highly organized and self-motivated.

• Comfortable handling field-based responsibilities, travel, multiple priorities, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Proficient with scientific databases, publication tracking, customer relationship management systems, and standard business software.

• Bilingual skills in English and French are preferred.

• Capability to lift 25 pounds.

• Availability to work extra hours and weekends as necessary.

• Overnight travel may be required, up to 60%.
