This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Act as the main point of contact with clinical trial sites, working in tandem with Clinical Development and Operations to guarantee exceptional study execution, particularly in clinical trial enrollment.
• Engage in planning and preparation for your designated region, coordinating efforts with local colleagues and CROs.
• Acquire extensive knowledge in various therapeutic areas, including inflammatory bowel disease, serving as the regional subject matter expert and a credible scientific authority.
• Establish and nurture relationships with opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and study personnel within your region.
• Offer scientific support to Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and other teams. Assist with activities such as local, regional, national, and, when necessary, international congresses, while sharing clinical and scientific insights with cross-functional teams.
• Operate with integrity and adhere to all laws, regulations, and policies.
• A minimum of a master’s degree with a medical credential (NP, RN, PA) from an accredited institution.
• A terminal degree (PharmD, PhD) is highly preferred.
• MSL with pharmaceutical experience and a medical credential (RN) may be considered with a bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of MSL experience is required.
• Experience as a drug pre-approval (pre-PDUFA) MSL is essential.
• Strong preference for candidates with IBD/GI or immunology experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of clearly presenting medical/scientific information.
• Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and results-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in influence and negotiation techniques.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in clinical trial design, execution, and evaluation is necessary.
• Permanent residency within the assigned region is required.
• Willingness to travel 70% of the time.
• Candidates residing near a major airport, preferably in the eastern half of the US or southeast, will be given preference; residency in Texas or Florida is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and digital meeting platforms is essential.
• A safe driving record and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Successful completion of Amplity and client training is mandatory.
