Medical Reviewer, Senior Medical Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide support for brand-related activities, including the preparation and final approval of both promotional and non-promotional materials.

• Attend Brand Team Meetings to ensure that the agenda and focuses of the Medical Review Advisory are effectively communicated and understood.

• Assist in the implementation of a Code Compliant system for both promotional and non-promotional activities within AbbVie and the broader marketplace.

• Ensure adherence to ABPI standards, the MHRA blue guide, EFPIA, IFPMA, national codes, and various regulatory authorities.

• Offer compliant and practical solutions for business development opportunities and product launches.

• Contribute to the creation of marketing campaigns.

• Independently review and approve materials in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to relevant Codes of Practice.

• Assess materials based on risk profiles when making review decisions.

• Provide guidance on UK code requirements to both overseas affiliates and the UK Affiliate.

• Engage in cross-functional Medical Review Projects.

• Comply with the PMCPA Code of Practice in all professional activities.

• Present code cases to foster team learning.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the therapy area and offer advice to the Brand team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential to be a UK registered medical doctor or pharmacist.

• Experience in understanding, analyzing, and communicating complex issues related to pharmacy, pharmacology, and medicine across various therapeutic areas.

• Successful completion of AbbVie’s in-house qualification program.

• Experience in reference checking and copy approval processes.

• Must adhere to the PMCPA Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry.

• Familiarity with ABPI standards, the MHRA blue guide, EFPIA, IFPMA, national codes, and regulatory authorities.
