This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Evaluate and Monitor Medical Treatment: Assess and remain informed about the status of client medical treatments during each stage of the treatment lifecycle.
• Management of Medical and Billing Records: Efficiently request and acquire medical and billing records, as well as any necessary affidavits, in a timely manner.
• Ensure Record Accuracy: Examine medical and billing records for precision and completeness, promoting efficiency in the process.
• Communication with Providers: Actively engage with medical providers and their records/billing departments to obtain updates on records and affidavit requests. Some requests may be processed through Chartswap, but the majority will necessitate direct phone calls to the medical facility. A friendly and patient phone demeanor is crucial.
• Reporting: Deliver weekly status reports to the firm’s systems, monitoring the progress of records and affidavits for each client.
• Management of Subrogation Liens: Investigate and handle subrogation liens, including Medicaid/Medicare, Hospital Liens, and other associated claims.
• Caseload Oversight: Effectively manage a caseload of 30-40 active cases, with the capability to accommodate an increasing number as the workload expands.
• Confirmation of Client Treatment: Support the Case Manager in verifying that clients have received the necessary medical treatment as per the providers' referrals.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Prior experience in a medical assistant, medical office, or healthcare-related position preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, billing codes, and medical records management preferred.
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks efficiently.
