Medical Order Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Reviewing and processing modifications to current patient orders

• Ensuring prescription accuracy and identifying when updated documentation is necessary

• Confirming insurance coverage and submitting or following up on authorization requests

• Calculating and verifying requirements for enteral formulas

• Navigating insurance and payer online portals

• Keeping precise, HIPAA-compliant records

• Engaging with patients and internal teams as required to address order-related issues

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration, order processing, or insurance

• Experience in home health, DME, or enteral preferred

• Knowledge of insurance authorization is an advantage

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory
