Medical Director – Study Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Act as the medical lead responsible at the trial level during the preparation, execution, and reporting phases of clinical trials.

• Provide medical expertise and oversight from the Trial Design Outline to the Clinical Trial Report.

• Support a single client/sponsor within the EMEA region.

• Ensure the prompt preparation of high-quality clinical trial protocols while minimizing amendments.

• Contribute to trial risk-based quality management by identifying medically relevant data and associated risks for quality and risk management plans.

• Co-author Clinical Quality Monitoring plans.

• Conduct ongoing reviews of medical data.

• Serve as a key member of the broader clinical trial team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD), preferably with a medical thesis.

• Trained in a clinical environment.

• At least 4 years of active clinical practice experience.

• Specialization in Pulmonology, Immunology, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, or Emergency Medicine is highly desirable.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO in medical, project management, global pharmacovigilance, or another relevant medical role is preferred.

• Familiarity with pertinent regulations and guidelines, including ICH-GCP.

• Previous experience as a medical monitor is ideal.

• Experience with data visualization systems and IT systems is preferable.

• Clinical development/trial experience is an additional advantage.
