📋 Description

• Manage a clinical caseload of up to 50% (subject to adjustment as administrative duties change), offering psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and ongoing medication management for pediatric patients in multiple states.

• Take full ownership of the psychiatry service line, overseeing clinical quality, provider performance, care protocols, and alignment with Brightline's evidence-based care standards.

• Work closely with fellow service line leaders in therapy, psychological testing, and coaching to ensure seamless, multidisciplinary care delivery.

• Establish and maintain Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) with nurse practitioners; collaborate with the CMO, Legal, and Compliance to develop the strategic framework governing CPAs across different jurisdictions.

• Document all work thoroughly, including session notes, care plans, and progress in the electronic health record.

• Directly supervise and lead a psychiatry team primarily made up of nurse practitioners, along with a pediatrician, with potential expansion to include more psychiatrists.

• Share hiring and personnel decision-making responsibilities in partnership with the CMO, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding when necessary.

• Authorize timecards and oversee scheduling for part-time direct reports.

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, case reviews, and clinical office hours to foster the professional development, clinical growth, and accountability of team members.

• Promote a culture of psychological safety, high standards, and ongoing learning within the psychiatry department.

• Create and uphold clinical protocols, treatment pathways, and quality assurance processes for the psychiatry service line.

• Lead chart reviews and continuous quality monitoring to ensure compliance with evidence-based care and Brightline's clinical standards.

• Identify and escalate systemic clinical risks, regulatory challenges, and practice gaps, working with the CMO and Compliance to address these issues proactively.

• Track productivity and care delivery metrics to enhance service line efficiency and sustainability.

• Collaborate with Care Operations to streamline workflows, alleviate clinician burden, and ensure the efficient daily operation of the psychiatry team.

• Effectively leverage AI tools to improve clinical workflows, documentation quality, and care delivery within the psychiatry service line and in multidisciplinary collaboration.

• Partner with Product and Engineering to provide clinical insights on technology developments, including documentation tools, decision support features, and patient-facing enhancements.

• Actively engage with emergent telehealth technologies and assist in evaluating new tools for safety, efficacy, and clinical applicability.

• Provide clinical insights to Brightline's broader AI strategy, overseen by the CMO and executive leadership team.

• Multi-state licensed or willing and able to obtain cross-licensure, with administrative support and financial sponsorship available.
