Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Acting as the Medical Director, overseeing our clinical operations, evidence generation, and initiatives for provider engagement and education.

• Supervising our clinical operations team responsible for planning and executing all clinical studies.

• Leading the evidence generation team that creates, publishes, and disseminates scientific evidence for NavDx.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver evidence-based education on the clinical advantages of NavDx testing.

• Developing multi-year evidence generation roadmaps that align with the Company's strategic objectives.

• Guiding the formulation of clinical strategies to incorporate Naveris’ technologies into standard medical practice.

• Leading cross-functional teams to achieve clinical project plans with defined milestones and progress reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D licensed to practice medicine in the United States (mandatory).

• Must be eligible to obtain valid medical licenses in Massachusetts and North Carolina (highly preferred).

• Board Certification in Pathology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Otolaryngology, Gynecologic Oncology, or Colorectal Surgery is strongly preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in direct patient care (including training and fellowship) with a focus on oncology.

• Proven history of scientific and clinical publications in prestigious journals.

• In-depth knowledge of clinical research concepts, practices, and GCP and ICH Guidelines is essential.

• Experience in the industry is preferred, particularly in molecular diagnostics, liquid biopsy, or other oncology-related sectors.

• Familiarity with Medicare, commercial insurance, and other stakeholders in the market access and payor community would significantly enhance a candidate's profile for this role.

• Experience collaborating with high-complexity CLIA laboratories for genomic testing technologies will also set apart exceptional candidates.
