Medical Content Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the curation of content across various medical specialties and clinical interests.

• Keep track of medical news, journal articles, clinical research, and healthcare trends to pinpoint timely and relevant content for clinician audiences.

• Assess scientific journal articles and extract significant insights for clinicians while preserving the essential nuances.

• Formulate content strategies tailored to distinct clinician populations based on changing interests, specialty requirements, and engagement behaviors.

• Employ LLMs and AI tools judiciously to enhance editorial workflows, research, summarization, and content creation, while ensuring a high standard of clinical accuracy and trustworthiness.

• Collaborate with medical advisors and product partners to gain a deeper understanding of user needs and aid in guiding product development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior knowledge and/or experience in healthcare, medical research, digital health, health journalism, medicine, or science writing.

• Proven experience in curating and distributing medical or clinical content, especially via email newsletters or similar recurring content formats.

• Excellent editorial judgment and clinical fluency, including the capability to comprehend scientific journal articles, discern their relevance to clinicians, and simplify intricate concepts without sacrificing critical nuances.

• Familiarity with using LLMs or AI tools to facilitate research, summarization, content creation, or editorial workflows.

• Interest or background in health tech, digital health, science writing, health journalism, or medical content.

• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage projects across an editorial calendar.
