Medical Clinical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support psychiatry clinicians during the onboarding process and assist with account setup.

• Resolve EHR-related issues encountered by psychiatry clinicians.

• Provide assistance with inquiries from psychiatry clinicians, focusing on troubleshooting and follow-up for any e-prescribing issues that may come up.

• Triage questions and requests to direct them to the appropriate clinical and/or operational leadership while ensuring timely communication.

• Aid in managing high-volume email accounts to respond to questions from psychiatry clinicians.

• Offer additional administrative support to medical staff, Regional Operations Directors, and program leadership.

• Follow up with psychiatry clinicians regarding clinical and administrative documentation.

• Facilitate multidisciplinary care coordination with the capability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and track key projects and issues promptly.

• Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all facets of the MCD role.

• Provide support to Medical Assistants as needed, including responsibilities such as Labs, Prior Authorizations, Paperwork Requests, and Refill Requests during peak periods.

• Collaborate with Psych program leadership on various ad hoc projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred).

• Over 2 years of experience working remotely in healthcare services.

• Experience with EHR systems (AMD experience preferred).

• Highly self-sufficient with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for assisting clinicians with complex system-related challenges.

• Strong team player.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
