This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conducts benefit-oriented medical necessity assessments for coverage, case management, and claims resolution.
• Strives to achieve high-quality results for customers/members with an emphasis on service and cost-effectiveness.
• Enhances clinical results through daily engagement with health care professionals.
• Strengthens relationships with health care professionals via direct communication.
• Investigates and answers inquiries from clients and/or regulatory bodies.
• Possession of a current unrestricted medical license in any US state or territory.
• Active board certification in a specialty recognized by ABMS or AOA.
• At least 5 years of clinical practice experience and/or direct patient care following residency.
• Proficiency in computer applications including Word processing, Spreadsheet, Email, PowerPoint, and Personal Information Management software.
