β’ Precisely enter and update patient demographic and insurance details.
β’ Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant federal and state regulations.
β’ Work collaboratively with clinical staff to promote smooth patient care and scheduling precision.
β’ Address patient questions and escalate issues as necessary to the suitable department.
β’ Conduct daily appointment audits to verify accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
β’ A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ 1β2 years of experience in medical scheduling or a front office healthcare environment is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of medical terminology, EHR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks), and insurance verification processes is advantageous.
