β€’ Confirm insurance eligibility and secure necessary authorizations or referrals when appropriate.

β€’ Verify appointments and communicate pre-visit instructions to patients.

β€’ Organize appointment timings based on provider availability, patient requirements, and clinic operations.

β€’ Precisely enter and update patient demographic and insurance details.

β€’ Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant federal and state regulations.

β€’ Work collaboratively with clinical staff to promote smooth patient care and scheduling precision.

β€’ Address patient questions and escalate issues as necessary to the suitable department.

β€’ Conduct daily appointment audits to verify accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

β€’ 1–2 years of experience in medical scheduling or a front office healthcare environment is preferred.

β€’ Knowledge of medical terminology, EHR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks), and insurance verification processes is advantageous.
