📋 Description

• Take ownership of follow-up processes for stale, underpaid, and unpaid claims.

• Oversee the intake, organization, and posting workflows for paper Explanation of Benefits (EOB).

• Conduct check reconciliation and ensure payment accuracy aligns with remittance data.

• Investigate any discrepancies between billed amounts, payments received, and expected reimbursement figures.

• Collaborate with billing, credentialing, and operations teams to address revenue-related issues.

• Facilitate communication with payers through phone, portal, fax, and email.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong organizational skills.

• Experience in a call center or roles with high call volumes.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare billing, collections, or revenue cycle management.

• Familiarity with US-based health insurance entities, both commercial and governmental.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Proficient in MS Office and various business systems.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
