Medical Billing Specialist, Home Healthcare, Massachusetts Insurance Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete medical billing and revenue cycle process for home healthcare services.

• Accurately and efficiently process and submit medical claims.

• Confirm patient insurance eligibility and benefits.

• Monitor, track, and follow up on submitted insurance claims.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to claim denials, billing discrepancies, and reimbursement.

• Liaise with Massachusetts insurance carriers concerning claims processing and payments.

• Keep precise billing records and documentation within CollaborateMD.

• Ensure that billing practices comply with HIPAA standards and regulations.

• Provide administrative support related to billing and reimbursement activities.

• Assist with inbound and outbound communication with patients and insurance providers as operational needs grow.

• At least 3 years of experience in medical billing, particularly in home healthcare.

• Proven experience billing insurance carriers based in Massachusetts.

• Proficient in the use of CollaborateMD.

• Strong knowledge of medical billing workflows and revenue cycle management.

• Experience working autonomously in a remote setting.
