Medical Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and timely revenue cycle management and account services.

• Ensure adherence to payer regulations and actively participate in ongoing process enhancements.

• Effectively communicate with team members and relevant stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in billing and/or coding within the revenue cycle.

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, Workers Comp, and private insurance billing and reimbursement procedures.

• Strong preference for experience in billing specific to Nevada.

• Preferred knowledge and experience with FQHC.

• Dental billing experience is a plus.

• Medical Billing Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) is preferred.

• Required prior experience in Acute Care hospital settings, with rural hospital experience being essential.
