📋 Description

• Examine patient records to identify the services rendered

• Confirm the precision of patient data

• Process and file claims with insurance providers

• Follow up on outstanding claims to secure payment

• Address any billing issues or discrepancies

• Create reports to monitor accounts receivable

• Offer customer support related to billing inquiries

• Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding

• Capability to efficiently and accurately manage billing claims

• Proficient in utilizing medical billing software and databases

• Ability to analyze and interpret intricate healthcare regulations

• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities

• Experienced in medical billing software and knowledgeable about billing regulations

• Understanding of coding and medical terminology

• Background in a medical office environment

• Skilled in researching governmental and payer requirements for billing and reimbursement

• Exceptional communication skills

• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

• Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining active communication with senior leaders
