Medical Billing Specialist – AR & Payment Posting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Swiftly respond to information requests from both internal and external sources.

• Enter charges from superbills and demographic reports in a timely and accurate manner.

• Proficient in adding specific data such as modifiers and payer-specific details, including authorization criteria, CPT, and ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes.

• Accountable for processing, reconciling discrepancies, and closing charge batches across all systems.

• Capable of effectively tracking and following up on information requests to and from the practice.

• Meet the goals established by the supervisor regarding error-free work, transactions, processes, and compliance standards.

• Responsible for posting payments.

• Manage patient phone calls professionally.

• Process claims efficiently.

• Other tasks as assigned.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a medical provider or billing firm setting within the US Healthcare Industry.

• Experience with accounts receivable (AR).

• Quick learning aptitude.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Capability to work independently while also being a team player.
