This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Submit and process claims for medical insurance
• Accurately post payments and update billing records
• Follow up on claims that are denied, underpaid, or still outstanding
• Liaise with insurance companies concerning billing issues and the status of claims
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits for insurance
• Pursue necessary documents, signatures, and authorizations
• Handle POCs, faxes, and other documentation related to billing
• Assist with light management and updates of EMR
• Monitor the billing status and documentation for patients
• Maintain precise billing records and administrative processes
• Provide support for additional administrative tasks as workload permits
• Previous experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar healthcare billing position
• Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, claims handling, denials, and underpayments
• Experience interacting with various insurance companies and understanding payer processes
• Familiarity with procedures for insurance verification and follow-up
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and billing tasks
• Capability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Clear and professional communication skills in English
