Medical Auditor - Neurology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct technical regulatory assessments;

• Provide written communication of your observations, conclusions, and recommendations to relevant parties after reviewing claim/authorization forms;

• Deliver technical opinions within your area of expertise;

• Notify Medical Coordination of any signs of ethical or legal misconduct detected;

• Request reports from the audited entity when necessary;

• Maintain impartiality while issuing technical reports and opinions;

• Keep abreast of the latest medical practices, clinical guidelines, and regulations pertaining to health plans;

• Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of medical information, adhering to the company's and client operators' LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) compliance throughout the auditing process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed medical degree;

• Postgraduate specialization in Neurology;

• Active and regular registration with the Regional Medical Council (CRM);

• Experience in prospective auditing;

• Specialty in Neurology or Neurosurgery;

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Office Suite);

• Ethics declaration;

• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams;

• Experience in a health insurance operator;

• Postgraduate specialization in auditing or related fields;

• Familiarity with ANS (Brazilian National Supplementary Health Agency) regulations, technical opinions, and health plan policies;

• Proficient technical reading skills in English.
