Medical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assess patient vitals and evaluations within Welby Health’s platform.

• Assist care managers in the implementation and upkeep of personalized care plans.

• Accurately document patient interactions in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with providers and internal teams to support follow-up activities and operational requirements.

• Act as a bridge between patients and providers to ensure patients comprehend instructions, remain engaged, and adhere to their care plans.

• Provide patient education, ongoing guidance, and general support through phone and secure messaging.

• Encourage patients to take charge of chronic conditions and establish lasting health habits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current and valid medical assistant (MA) certification.

• Approximately two (2) to five (5) years of hands-on patient care experience in medical-surgical or home care settings.

• Associate’s degree in a healthcare-related discipline.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously in a remote, technology-driven environment.

• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and follow-through.
