This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

• Support healthcare providers in scheduling appointments, conducting patient follow-ups, and updating medical records.

• Oversee electronic health records (EHR) by entering patient information, refreshing charts, and ensuring precision.

• Interact with patients through phone, email, or telehealth platforms to offer assistance and education.

• Manage insurance verifications, address billing inquiries, and facilitate prior authorizations.

• Aid in prescription refills and coordinate efforts with pharmacies.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.

• Deliver virtual assistance for medical documentation, transcriptions, and scribing.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or relevant experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar) is essential.

• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to patient interactions.

• Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare protocols.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and telehealth platforms.
