Medicaid Policy and Program Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison among technical teams, policy specialists, state officials, and federal stakeholders.

• Simplify complex governmental or technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.

• Collaborate with policy, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between regulatory objectives and practical delivery.

• Oversee and manage support channels for state Medicaid partners.

• Spot opportunities for process or product enhancements within federal Medicaid programs.

• Create, standardize, and continuously enhance workflows for Medicaid partner interactions.

• Recognize operational patterns and escalate concerns to leadership or internal teams as necessary.

• Coordinate with federal partners to maintain alignment across agencies.

• Advocate for the needs of the Medicaid program by conveying insights from state-level administration to product and engineering teams.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience working with Medicaid programs at either the state or federal level.

• A collaborative and diplomatic approach to navigating complex stakeholder relationships.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Must conduct all work physically within the United States.

• Must be a citizen of the United States.

• Must be able to successfully complete a federal public trust background check.
