This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize SQL programming expertise to execute data transformations, integrate datasets, filter information, create tables, and conduct both basic and advanced analytics.
• Design models, visualizations, and reports utilizing EOHHS data in Microsoft Power BI.
• Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on data sources such as the All Payer Claims Database (APCD), the Ecosystem, and the Medicaid Management Information System.
• Monitor and report on program data to assist staff in tracking program activity, guiding program development, and finalizing internal reports.
• Collaborate with State personnel to generate reports for various program enrollees.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data submissions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Health Policy, Health Economics, Statistics, Medical Informatics, or Epidemiology; equivalent work experience may be considered as a substitute for degree requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis with a focus on evaluating healthcare performance and reporting findings to stakeholders.
• Proficient in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Access.
• Strong capability to analyze data to identify patterns and trends.
• Effective communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities effectively.
• Skilled at producing high-quality reports within tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional verbal and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Preferred: Expertise in healthcare, including healthcare claims data, Minimum Data Set data, or other complex real-world datasets.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Medicaid claims data.
• Full-time position.
• Contract duration of at least 5 years.
• 100% remote position.
