Mechanical Piping Engineer, Data Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support complex, mission-critical projects, including hyperscale data centers and secure facilities.

• Offer technical expertise on strategies that protect infrastructure, safeguard assets, and comply with stringent codes and client requirements.

• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and security professionals across various sectors such as data centers, healthcare, higher education, commercial, industrial, and federal facilities.

• Lead engineering projects from initial design to final execution, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.

• Conduct design calculations, create detailed documentation, and provide cost estimates.

• Coordinate project designs to enhance quality and efficiency.

• Act as the primary point of contact for project teams and clients, relaying updates on project progress and modifications.

• Improve engineering methods and processes to foster innovation and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant piping design and pipe stress analysis experience using AutoPIPE.

• Proficient in preparing pipe stress analysis reports and selecting appropriate pipe support components.

• Experience with Piping System Flow Analysis (Fathom) is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

• Experience with Revit is desirable.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
