Mechanical HVAC Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create mechanical designs and system layouts for HVAC systems, encompassing heating, cooling, and ventilation.

• Develop comprehensive duct layouts, duct plans, and coordinated shop drawings essential for construction.

• Generate and review mechanical construction documentation, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications.

• Conduct HVAC load calculations and assist in system sizing and design validation.

• Collaborate in project coordination with internal teams, consultants, and onsite personnel.

• Aid in estimating tasks and prepare technical documentation for successful project execution.

• Ensure that all mechanical designs are aligned with construction feasibility and project timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in HVAC mechanical design, including systems for heating, cooling, and ventilation.

• Strong skills in duct design, planning duct layouts, and producing shop drawings.

• Experience in performing HVAC load calculations and mechanical system sizing.

• Familiarity with mechanical construction documentation and coordination procedures.

• Knowledge of Australian Standards and Building Codes is preferred.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in technical drafting and documentation.

• Capable of working independently while also effectively collaborating with project teams.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
