Mechanical Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive design concepts, scheme definitions, and fully detailed design solutions utilizing CAD software, including Inventor.

• Collaborate on piping systems, mechanical flow diagrams, and the production of general arrangement, assembly, component, and fabrication drawings.

• Ensure that designs comply with the AEIL Quality Management System, delivering projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• HND in a relevant engineering/design discipline is preferred, or HNC with pertinent experience.

• Significant experience in mechanical design adhering to BS/ISO standards.

• Strong proficiency in both 2D and 3D CAD software.

• Background in design for manufacture, pipework, pressure vessels, and structural steelwork.

• Familiarity with Autodesk Revit and GD&T is considered desirable.

• Knowledge of BS8888 and ASME Y14.5 drawing standards is a plus.

• Experience in the creation of detailed drawings.
