Measure Technician – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Operate autonomously in a traveling field position supporting The Home Depot’s Field Services Organization.

• Conduct in-home measurement appointments.

• Build, nurture, and enhance customer relationships through daily interactions.

• Assist with sales, product inquiries, in-home measurements, and installation coordination.

• Deliver a positive customer experience through precise measurements, calculations, quote reviews, and presentations.

• Efficiently and accurately complete daily routes for pre-assigned measure appointments.

• Collaborate with Associates, Supervisors, and Managers on designated work tasks.

• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and established work schedules.

• Engage customers with open-ended questions regarding their projects and product requirements.

• Articulate merchandise features and benefits while explaining the steps for project completion.

• Respond to customer inquiries utilizing knowledge of products and services.

• Identify opportunities to involve customers in additional services programs.

• Report directly to the Assistant Market Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Must possess reliable transportation.

• High school diploma and/or GED is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.

• Prior leadership experience is not necessary.

• Must be able to stand or walk continuously.

• Regularly lift, handle, or carry moderate-weight materials or equipment weighing between 8–20 pounds.

• Travel between various locations is required.

• Work to be conducted using company-issued devices.
