MDS Nurse – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Conduct and coordinate MDS assessments from a remote setting

• Facilitate the accurate and timely fulfillment of MDS/RAI obligations

• Partner with facility teams to collect essential clinical documentation

• Examine medical records and confirm appropriate supporting documentation

• Detect discrepancies and follow up with facility staff as necessary

• Aid in care planning and ensure regulatory compliance

• Maintain precise documentation while adhering to established deadlines

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN or LPN license

• Extensive MDS experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care

• ECS experience is mandatory

• Comprehensive understanding of the RAI/MDS process and CMS regulations

• Strong clinical documentation and organizational abilities

• Capability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Exceptional communication and follow-up skills

• Proficient in using electronic medical records and remote technology
