Mathematics Curriculum Developer – Australian Senior Secondary Courses

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Develop and organize advanced mathematics content for Years 11 and 12 within the QLD, VIC, and NSW Senior curricula, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and relevance to exam preparation.

• An expert in one of these states is required, with sufficient experience to apply knowledge to the interpretation of standards for other states.

• Review and integrate existing Mathspace materials, making modifications and updates as needed for senior secondary levels.

• Create a set of comprehensive and challenging exam-style questions that prioritize a balance of procedural skills, conceptual understanding, and real-world applications.

• Design detailed lesson plans and educational resources that complement question sets and enhance student learning.

• Collaborate with our team to ensure coherence and quality of content across all learning modules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in teaching or developing curriculum for Years 11 and 12 mathematics.

• Extensive understanding of exam formats, question types, and assessment criteria pertinent to senior secondary mathematics.

• At least 5 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary setting, ideally with a focus on exam preparation or assessment design.

• A collaborative and proactive approach to work, with a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.

• A background in coding or educational technology is advantageous.

• A strong capability and willingness to utilize AI tools to automate and enhance workflows.

• Awareness of recent changes in senior secondary mathematics curricula.

• Experience in a remote or digital education environment.
