Mathematics AI Training Expert – PhD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the advancement of AI by crafting complex mathematical problems that assess and enhance reasoning in state-of-the-art models.

• Create sophisticated mathematical challenges for training and evaluating cutting-edge AI.

• Develop deterministic problems that have a single correct solution.

• Produce thorough, verified solutions while clearly documenting the reasoning process.

• Design problems that evaluate profound mathematical reasoning rather than mere memorization.

• Utilize Python or specialized tools when applicable to construct computational workflows.

• Ensure that all outputs are technically accurate, reproducible, and articulated in well-written English.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.

• Significant research or industry experience in mathematical modeling, proof-based reasoning, applied mathematics, or computational mathematics.

• Proficient in Python, with familiarity in libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas, or similar.

• Strong understanding of algorithms, numerical methods, and computational techniques.

• Capability to create original and challenging problems that reflect authentic mathematical workflows.

• Exceptional attention to detail and proficient technical writing skills in English.

• Nice to have: Experience with symbolic math systems, theorem provers, optimization solvers, or other mathematical software.

• Background in olympiad-level, graduate-level, or research-level problem design.

• Experience in evaluating model reasoning, benchmarking, or designing technical assessments.
