Mathematics AI Training Expert – PhD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Design sophisticated mathematical challenges for the training and evaluation of cutting-edge AI systems.

• Create deterministic problems that have a single, definitive solution.

• Develop comprehensive, verified solutions and document the reasoning process clearly.

• Create problems that assess deep mathematical reasoning rather than mere memorization.

• Where applicable, utilize Python or specialized tools to construct computational workflows.

• Ensure all outputs are technically accurate, reproducible, and well-articulated in English.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.

• Strong research or industry experience in mathematical modeling, proof-based reasoning, applied mathematics, or computational mathematics.

• Proficient in Python; familiarity with libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas, or similar.

• Solid understanding of algorithms, numerical methods, and computational techniques.

• Capability to design original and challenging problems that reflect real mathematical workflows.

• Excellent attention to detail and proficient technical writing skills in English.

• Experience with symbolic math systems, theorem provers, optimization solvers, or other mathematical software (preferred).

• Background in olympiad-level, graduate-level, or research-level problem design (preferred).

• Experience in evaluating model reasoning, benchmarking, or designing technical assessments (preferred).
